Hi

Can anybody tell me, when there is a weekend workshop in Southport this year.

Also, how can I find a qualified (IDTA, ISTD, UKA or other dance organisations) salsa teacher to take exams and enter competitions. I am based near Leeds.

I have lots of information about salsa exams here in scotland - but that wont help you in leeds.

Drop me an email and I'll chase this up for you, my local salsa teacher has contacts who may be able to let you know who the UKA representative is in your area.

I'm all for salsa exams as they are a good way of measuring how far your salsa has progressed and you get lots of feedback about where you are going right, and going wrong.

And you get a nice medal (or trophy) that you can show off to all your non-salsa friends! However, I am also aware that these exams are basically a money making scheme for the UKA. Personally, I'm quite happy with that - good luck to them!

Cheers

Graeme
