In December 2002, Skegness was home to The First British Salsa Congress. This congress, organised by Seriously Salsa, brought an amazing number of world-class teachers and performers to the UK. Probably the biggest set of teachers to appear together in the UK and possibly in Europe. It was a fantastic event which received much praise and seemed to be enjoyed by everyone who attended.
